Does ECG work with the CloudKnit replacement band?
ECG works on WHOOP MG only. The metal frame has ECG indents but ECG functionality is not supported on WHOOP 5.0. This is a WHOOP hardware limitation, not a band limitation.
How do I wash the CloudKnit band?
CloudKnit is a cashmere-blend — treat it like a wool sweater. Soak in warm water for 10 minutes, hand wash with gentle soap (optional: add fabric softener), rinse thoroughly, and lay flat to dry. Do not wring or twist. Clean your WHOOP sensor at least 2-3 times per week to prevent dirt buildup.
Will the CloudKnit band shrink or stretch after washing?
When cared for correctly — hand wash and lay flat to dry — the band maintains its fit and shape. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, or wringing, which can distort the cashmere fibres.
Is the CloudKnit band suitable for sensitive skin?
CloudKnit is a cashmere-blend and may cause irritation for individuals with sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, remove the band and allow the skin to rest. Factors like humidity, allergies, sweat, soap residue, and sanitizers can also contribute to skin irritation.
Is this an official WHOOP product?
