How do I wash the CloudKnit band?
Treat like a wool sweater. Soak in warm water for 10 minutes, hand wash with gentle soap, rinse thoroughly, and lay flat to dry. Do not wring or twist.
Will the CloudKnit band shrink or stretch after washing?
When cared for correctly β hand wash and lay flat to dry β the band maintains its fit and shape. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, or wringing.
Is the CloudKnit band suitable for sensitive skin?
CloudKnit is a cashmere-blend and may cause irritation for individuals with sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, remove the band and allow the skin to rest.

Can a member downgrade their WHOOP membership tier?
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No hardware exchange is required β the member retains their existing device but loses higher-tier feature access.
Cancellation, Refunds, and Membership Pausing
How do I cancel my WHOOP membership?
- Open the WHOOP app β tap More β My Account β Membership.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Cancel Membership.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until expiry.
What is WHOOP's refund policy?
WHOOP offers a 30-day return window for new memberships. Cancel within 30 days and return hardware in original condition for a full refund. After 30 days, memberships are non-refundable. Accessories must be unused and in original packaging.
Can I pause my WHOOP membership?

What happens to my data if I cancel?

How do I clean my WHOOP sensor?
Clean the WHOOP sensor at least 2β3 times per week to prevent dirt and sweat buildup that can affect optical sensor accuracy:
- Remove the sensor from the band clasp.
- Rinse the sensor under warm running water.
- Use a soft cloth or toothbrush with mild soap to gently scrub the optical sensor window and body.
